Was listening to a discussion of this on NPR last night. This was the archetypal movement disorder when I was in medical school a little over 15 years ago. Amazing to see how the thought around its nature has changed so much.

Studies indicate that mindfulness meditation and yoga can significantly improve anxiety symptoms, inflammation, motor symptoms, and quality of life in Parkinson’s patients.
