      I’d like to congratulate the regime – getting both NFL fans and pro wrestling fans to hate on you, as a Republican, is no mean feat.

      ICE has been running ads during AEW and multiple wrestlers have been condemning ice on the show and outside. AEW can’t control what Turner network ads are run.

      From „slammed“ to „body-slammed“. These headlines have gotten out of hand to an almost hilarious extent.

      AEW isn’t perfect and people wanting perfect will look to the Khans and how ethically there can be no billionaires, same with donating to Trump back in like 2016.

      But Tony Khan who actually runs AEW is for all intents and purposes a genuinely good dude by all accounts, that is also a wrestling nerd. Most of his roster is filled with very left-leaning people, including Brody King who has been extremely outspoken against ICE and their actions.

      AEW is the non-MAGA WWE with an actual focus on real professional wrestling instead of just a caricature of it surrounding soap-opera storylines bowing down and supporting fascists.

      I feel like this happening at a wrestling event is like a canary in a coal mine for Trump. Or maybe that’s just copium.

      I watch AEW weekly so I’m so happy to see them getting some love by folks who usually woudln’t check them out. Though as others have pointed out, AEW crowds are far different than the WWE crowds and they’re much more progressive and ya know, not in bed with all of MAGA.

      The big tatted wrestler in the clip, Brody King wore an Abolish Ice shirt during a show a few months ago and that picked up a lot of steam too. Love to see two of my favorite things in some rasslin and good ole fuck ice chants.

      It’s worth noting that Brody King, the wrestler mentioned, literally has „F*** ICE“ on his merchandise.

      What I would give for a more mainstream sport to have the balls and morality to also do what wrestlers and fans have been doing.

      While one wrestling company cozies up to Trump, AEW lets their wrestlers walk out in “Fuck ICE” gear.

      If you don’t currently watch AEW but liked wrestling in the past, you should give them a shot!

      AEW is amazing and quite liberal.

      WWE is run by Triple H who regularly works for Trump.

      The difference is very stark.

      you can say slammed and get away with being metaphorical but Body-Slammed is a bit more literal than just slammed.

      These were AEW fans. And before any WWE fans try and come out and say they’re anti Trump and anti MAGA WWE has been promoting MAGA influencers and their wrestlers have openly endorsed Trump. Roman Reigns admitted to being a Trump supporter and Cody and a few other wrestlers opened up for him at one of his rallies for the troops. Anyone still watching WWE and claiming to be anti MAGA is fucking spineless
