That in huge part is inherited from the soviet union. A big portion of the ‚russian-speakers‘ are fucking bullies as is their country of origin. So if you dont have something, you can try taking it by force or making someone else feel weaker just because you look tough.
>What’s going on, Lithuania?
Alot
Strong men create good times!
data is 9-8 yrs old btw
I guess many people recognise bullying so we have a very high number, however general bullying culture is still very alive during all generations and in our media, influencers, etc.
Bullying
Try to ask any question online and you will get lots of bully comments. The commenters have kids, so the mentality continue.
Our mentality
A lot of people here are small minded, toxic dickheads that try to disguise it as “northern mentality” or “saying it how it is”, when in reality they’re just twats. No reason why that shouldn’t extend to their kids.
Free for all.
Kinda old data, now situation is much better – new young generation has higher EQ.
🇱🇹 NUMERO UNOOO
Why are you asking, nerd?
Bullying works
how to actually interpret statistics like these:
reported bullying does not imply 1to1 correlation with extent bullying going on. it just means its more reported or less reported.
e.g. comparing to something like russia, where i seriously doubt extent of actual bullying is lower, it just means its way more normalized in there, therefore less reported.
high numbers like this can also mean people are not afraid to speak out and identify these cases of wrongdoing. but also does not mean there isn’t a problem
therefore in order to make any sort of conclusion you have to corelate with similar countries, other statistics, and trends over time – need to account for variance.
true for Lithuania sadly. It’s literally everywhere
You post a random data, add a convincing question as it would be a fact and we should eat it as a dessert? What’s the source? Date of publishing?
That’s suspiciously high. 1 half bullying other half? Fake ass map
Maybe the question was weirdly translated.
