Den Daten des schwedischen Strafvollzugs- und Bewährungsdienstes zufolge, der Gefängnisse, Haftanstalten und verwandte Einrichtungen überwacht, waren 2.837 der 11.812 Insassen, die im Jahr 2024 ihre Haftstrafen antraten, nichtschwedische Staatsangehörige.
Auf diese Personen entfielen 24 Prozent der Gesamtzahl.

I don’t think Sanseito was trying to make a false statement. She haven’t learned division yet and thought 11,812/2,937 = .98 She need to re-enter elementary school instead of running for an office.
Sweden has so much data and statistics publicly available for anyone to see, but I guess it’s easier to go with the „many people are saying“ rhetoric.

This is actually disgraceful, spreading misinformation about some other country’s affairs for political gain in domestic elections is just ugly.
They’re just mad as they’re aspirational goals for them. They want those kinds of incarceration rates, just without the Nordic style prisons that are kinda nice.
