Wondering what it would take to get someone to immigrate to Haiti

Paraguay is false. Brazilians do settle Paraguay (cheap land for agriculture), but in 2023, the largest it has ever been, was only 263200.

I would say that Colombia has already hit the 3 million Venezuelans mark.

700k paraguayans in Argentina? Damn that’s like 10% of their population.

That’s the problem of this literal, strict, use of the term Latin America. What’s the scientific reason to include all those countries and exclude Guiana, Suriname, Jamaice, Belize, etc?
These countries all share the same general socio-economical-political landscape. Makes no sense to exclude some countries because of their language as it’s not a relevant cutout criteria here.
This map is misleading due lack of information.

I live in a Brazilian city with about 42,000 inhabitants, 8,000 of whom are Venezuelan immigrants, which is quite a lot…

Huh, Argentinians don’t migrate much inside LATAM I see. I wonder what the numbers are for Argentinian migration to Brazil and Chile, because those numbers to Uruguay and Bolivia are not very high.

Why is there never any data in maps of South America about Guyana, Suriname or French Guiana?
