      This is a pretty good example of why the argument that you don’t vote for a leader or prime minister in Canada falls flat. The party leader drives policy in a big way.

      What did these positions accomplish?  I’m very much in favour of government incentives to fight racism, but I’m also very skeptical of them.  It’s easier to make performative gestures than to implement systemic change.

      As an additional question, has the antisemitism envoy ever guilty of labelling antizionism as antisemitism?

      This seems like really good news, these envoys were a joke, who seemed to constantly be taking shots at each other. It’s the purest form of Trudeau-era politics, with every little group getting promised something meaningless, and we should be glad to be past that era.
