      Missouri seems low by my general observation of having lived there.

    2. Staggering amount all states in hundreds. Add to it other hard drugs like fentenyl, (crack) cocaine, metphedrone and others and you get like < 10% addict population nationwide.

      I actually think it is higher in Indiana. But maybe it is how this is calculated? like are these based on arrest records or self-reporting at clinics or something?

      Edit: Maybe the situation has improved, I haven’t been there in a long time but I found this on the state govt website: „Indiana State Police made 11 Methamphetamine lab-related arrests, along with seizing 21 clandestine labs in 2023. The state has seen a noticeable decline in lab seizures after the peak in 2013 (1,808 lab seizures).“
