Honestly, doing this by county is misleading. A large nuclear plant in one county is powering its neighbors too.
The Platte County Nebraska 71 MW coal pant is not supplying power to the public. It’s a private plant generating power exclusively to the corn ethanol plant east of Columbus. While it is the largest source in Platte County it’s not connected to the power grid.
