Aquatechnik teilte Militarny mit, dass die Unterwasserdrohne Marichka für den Einsatz bereit sei. Es hat eine Reichweite von 1.000 km, eine Nutzlast von über 1.000 kg und eine Geschwindigkeit von 10 km/h. Die Drohne ist für den Angriff auf große Ziele konzipiert. Trotz erfolgreicher Tests kam es noch nicht zu einem Kampfeinsatz.

10km/hr with a range of 1,000km is a weird combination of specs, though. That’s a little less than distance from New York City to Chicago. It would take 4 days to travel that distance. I guess, ideally, you’d drop it somewhere much closer and let it go, or let it loiter around an area until a target presented itself.
I’m gonna say it again, that’s not enough to not be recognisable.
