This message of unity brought to you by the prime minister who gave us the “barbaric cultural practices” snitch line, when he thought that such behaviour was politically expedient.

Why are the GOP and Likud still in the IDU Steve?

    2. I *highly recommend* that everyone reading this take some time to watch the entire conversation. It’s an incredible insight into the views of these two icons of Canadian politics, and they approach it with a friendly demeanor and a genuine concern for the well-being of Canada today.

_Edit: Folks, being an icon can mean that you are an enduring presence; it doesn’t necessarily mean that you are loved by all, or even most. Villains can be icons as well, though I wouldn’t characterize either of these gentlemen as villainous._

    3. I found it amusing when Chretien talks about how two PMs from different parties can sit together in a room and get along, while if you were to put him in a room with a certain former PM from his same party they would probably get into a fist fight.

Well Harper, the reason we can’t is because you built a political movement across Canada and the West with the purpose of establishing a far right conservative movement that cosied up to fascists and American exceptionalism. The UCP and CPC are entirely your legacy.

Both of these guys screwed over Canada in different ways!!!

Chrétien destroyed our military to a point where we are still dealing with its effects to this day.
