      The thing I don’t see spoken of often here, and maybe I’m blind – is of course he’s saying this. He can’t afford to lose.

      If he loses, he gets impeached, maybe removed. But maybe worse – if he loses the midterms and therefore the house, his ability to fuckery his way into running / winning / declaring himself president again in ’28 gets a lot more difficult. Investigations. Obstruction. The whole 9 yards.

      And what happens if Trump is ever alive and not president again in the future?

      He’s going to jail. His business empire is going to be broken down and destroyed. It would have happened if he didn’t win in ’24 – he was done and dusted.

      So losing the midterms is existential for him. He must not lose. And he can’t win fairly – even if he wasn’t the biggest criminal piece of shit in history almost always the midterms flip the house. So he must ratfuck this election, one way or another.

      He does not ever intend to relinquish power. It is the equivalent to a death sentence to him if he does.

      I suspect that rigging the midterms will be the redline for Americans. Whether it’s through threats of violence, changes in election laws or straight up Russian style manipulation of voting infrastructure… It doesn’t matter.

      The insane turnover in every special election since he was elected should make any attempts at fraud terribly obvious to any honest voter
