After the EU classified its Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist group, Iran retaliated by classing EU armies as terrorist groups, intensifying the political escalation between Iran and Europe.
The terror-designation announcement was made by the Islamic Republic’s speaker of parliament, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf whom also accused Europe of serving the interests of the USA.
