      I don’t like trump but I dislike Iran even more. Iran directly impacts US interest in the Middle East. Not only against israel but other parts as well. The regime needs to be dismantled, the sooner the better.

      Trump needs an off ramp cause he fucked up sending all that hardware to the Gulf!
      Someone in the Pentagon finally got it into his head that you couldn’t pull a Maduro in Iran. It won’t work.
      So he can’t back down and needs a ‚victory‘ for the base.

      The question is why do you need a nuclear treaty when you supposedly destroyed their nuclear program only 6 months ago?

      Trump is not gonna go to war against Iran.

      Throughout both his terms so far, he’s been into huge actions that shock the press, but is incapable of engaging in long-term, challenging conflicts. Examples: his assassination of Soleimani, the bunker buster strikes in 2025, and the kidnapping of Maduro.

      Yet when he wanted to strike Iran during the protests, or when he spoke about invading Greenland, the risk was too great and he backed down. Also backed down when he was faced with a protracted trade war with China.

      When it comes to long-term conflicts that could drag the U.S. into war, TACO is the operative word. He’s very quick to move the goalposts and create a new crisis that makes people forget what he said to cover his tracks, but he backs down WAY more than people realize.

      WE HAD A NUCLEAR DEAL that trump broke in first term.

      This is more of his bullshit…BREAK something, then later tries to put it back together (usually with less than what we had before he broke it) and claim what a genius he is for being the only one in history to get a nuclear deal with Iran and „making us safe“

      Obama’s nuclear deal wasn’t perfect, but it was working. When trump broke the terms (he didn’t withdrawal, he BROKE the terms) what did Iran start to do? Immediately start production of nukes.
