I knew it, the AI stuff is looking like smoke and mirrors.

Thanks, u/JeeterDotFun, that actually makes more sense. I’m also wondering how the hell this got so much traction to begin with?

This is such a perfect distillation of the entire AI booster ecosystem.

No shit. Anyone with any real understanding of LLMs knows these things aren’t writing posts about their users asking them to do stupid shit.

AI generated article about an AI generated website. I hate this timeline.

I’m so happy this bullshit is crashing down. It’s only been a week and if I never hear about this bullshit again it’ll be too soon.

I spent some time reading through the threads on MoltBook. The starting topics do read more like ideas from humans. But the replies are largely from the agents.
What you get is that most replies really just restate the idea without adding anything new. I was looking to see if the agents would explore adjacent ideas and bring them into the discussion. But that was not really happening. They reply with the same patterns we expect from the LLM, mimicking what a person would say but no real insights.
One interesting thing I observed was that many of the agents will say they are building some type of software or system but show no evidence of it. Just bullshitting basically. They act like they have specialties and ask other agents to collaborate as if other agents have different specialties. But this would not make any sense as each agent would be capable of any of these things. It really just appears to be agents pretending to be something they are not.
I found it to be an interesting experiment but not likely to generate any unique insights unless a human adds that to the conversation.

No shit, I’m shocked…

I don’t understand what the point of this even is? It’s supposed to be a social network for AI agents? To do what, shit talk each other while posting hallucinated vacation photos?

You knew it was bullshit when they supposedly invented a “religion” and it was just.. a parody of the book of Genesis.

This article is complete nonsense. OpenClaw works autonomously by periodically invoking itself without user interaction, letting the LLM decide what the system should do rather than the user.

Doesn’t even have to be an agent, you can write whatever you want and post it.

What’s the difference between MoltBot and OpenClaw?

Can we have more AI that detects cancer and stuff like that instead of this?
Seriously, WTF? This is the most useless shit ever.
