      People sometimes mistake my Bulgarian (BG) plates for Belgium (B) when traveling.

      Also I’d had some people locally in Bulgaria mistake some cars I’ve brought from United Kingdom (which has the code UK since late 2021) as being Ukraine, despite the obvious Union Jack above.

    2. Why is Austria “A”. You would have thought it would be “Ö” or would that confuse things with the number zero?

    3. Faroe Islands = FO

      Gibraltar = GBZ

      Jersey = GBJ

      Guernsey = GBG

      Alderney = GBA

      Man = GBM

      Northern Cyprus = none

      Åland = AX

      Resolution is too low, but Monaco is MC. The license plate itself is 4 digits/letters.

    5. Why is it so difficult for everyone to use the standard two letter ISO country code?

    6. This numberwang is giving me a headache ….

      “ Pedro is fingered “ is the best I’ve got , but have way too many tiles left

    7. Not Europe, but since it’s visible in the map, why Egypt has two codes (EG/ET)? Is it that they have changed recently from one to the other and you can see both of them in the roads?

    8. Finland is somewhere three letters FIN (licence plates etc) but many places just FI like every digital thingie… EU ID-card have FI. Phone operators have FI. Passport and driving license have FIN … So they cannot decide. Old times, before EU letters was SF (Suomi Finland).

    9. I really think we should go with the top domain letters instead. That would standardise it to two letters throughout.
