      When asked by reporters what it was like to be on both sides of a lawsuit, Trump responded that “no one would care” if he awarded himself taxpayer funds for his own hand-selected “charities.”

      As president, Trump has launched multiple lawsuits against the U.S. government that he is in charge of. He is seeking damages of more than $10 billion.

      “I have to work out some sort of settlement,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One. „I’m supposed to work out a settlement with myself.“

      Trump has personally grown his net worth an estimated $3.9 billion during the first year of his second term.

      Reminder that he, and no one in his family, is allowed to operate a charity in one of the most populous states in the US because of how nakedly they stole from their charity.

      We had to sit here for 4 years listening to “Biden crime family” and all the nonsense republicans lied about, now that trump is back and is more corrupt than ever, they’re all totally silent. He’s getting obvious bribes all the time, selling pardons, embezzling, selling meetings, golfing a ton, personally suing the government, making billions, and complete crickets from republicans.

He will get away with this and at the end if his term the economy will collapse and he will sit back with all the billions he stole and laugh at everyone.

      Except you’re really taking money from the government and putting it in your own pocket. It’s like you’re in charge of payroll at your company. „If I give myself a $100k bonus it’s like I’m hurting myself“….. Except it’s not. You’d be stealing from your employer.

      This is literally what he’s doing, but he’s doing it to the American people who find these „settlements“ with their own tax payments. For the DOJ, to allow this kind of ethical decision to be made is really disappointing. Republicans and Democrats have failed the American people.

      Only Donald Trump would consider violating the emoluments clause of the Constitution so blatantly.

      This gives a pretty obvious basis for the government to seize ALL Trump’s wealth and hold on to it and work out how much of Trump’s wealth came from bribes and exploiting his office for financial gain before returning anything to him or his children.
