Put the point in our win column but get out there and keep going!

This is a marathon not a sprint.

Would the Texas GOP overestimate their popularity with Latinos? Would the Texas GOP overestimate how popular masked gun grabbing is on Texas?

Are power bills and property tax still through the roof?

And with an 1/4 of rhe campaispe spending, too! 57% to 42%. Thats HUGE for Texas.

*Your VOTE does matter, folks. Get out there and vote DESPITE the gerrymandering fuckery.

When earthquakes happened in biblical times before we knew about plate tectonics, they must have really thought god was mad at them. They might still feel that way in Texas and they should.

    5. I’ve seen some responses on this

„This doesn’t matter seats up in November so all reps will vote then!“

Like what this is a huge upset and a warning sign

Someone over at Facebook was bitching about the Dominion machines being compromised and allowing this to happen. It’s amazing that when a democrat wins it’s instantly cheating even though it’s probably the same machines used last time and it was perfectly fine when a republican won

This is my district. I reminded my friends and family to vote a million times. Even more motivated now. Every vote matters. Every election matters. So proud this morning.

    8. Redrawing the map was a fantastic idea after all. I wish more red states did it.

    9. Northern Oklahoma, we can do this next! There are signs for Democratic candidate Luke Kruse EVERYWHERE up here!

Vote for Kruse in February 10th’s special election. The reddest state in the nation CAN become purple.

    10. This, right here, is why you cannot listen to doomers in 2026. Don’t let them tell you taking the Senate is impossible, that there just aren’t the numbers.

Aim for a super-majority. Aim for impeach AND remove. Organize, strategize. Don’t let the establishment treat this like a normal election.

Unprecedented times lead to unprecedented outcomes!

    11. Who would have thought that acting like assholes towards the country’s entire population would end up with a loss of popularity.

The current administration is increasingly isolated and cornered. They will respond accordingly. We have seven months to galvanize the plans to protect the upcoming elections.

I want the left to win. But I’m not looking for ‘high road’ candidates or absolute wastes like Schumer.

If this isn’t a time for transformational change then I don’t want to hear from them.

Just don’t get to confident. Everyone is more going to be giving these crazy predictions. Stay focused.

    15. Neat. Did it flip who controls their house? Not even close.

Good to see people waking the fuck up in Texas. The reality is that it’s probably a blue state due to the massive influx of people migrating there from other states over the last twenty years. But the state is the typical example of what a gerrymandered map looks like on poly sci class (I know it was for mine).

But we can cancel the parade. And it’s too soon to declare any notable victories. The road is still long.
