Heute, am 1. Februar 2026, nachdem ich fünf Jahre hier gelebt und alle erforderlichen Prüfungen bestanden habe, habe ich meinen deutschen Pass abgeholt.
Es war eine lange Reise und ich bin sehr glücklich, diesen Moment endlich erreicht zu haben.

after 10 years and working, i still cant get it. i have never been in jobcenter and i have C1, they reject my application, i guess every land has favor than other.

You picked up your German passport at Vienna airport?
I never realized how privileged that passport was, until i started to travel.
Like so many countries you can just enter without VISA application outside of the EU and no further questions asked. Nobody is afraid of you illegally staying in their country with that passport.
