That is water damage.
This looks like water damage, not mold. There might be a leaky pipe above your ceiling or leaky roof and such.
Inform your landlord at once, send pictures, and tell them when it showed up / if it is getting more or less. You should do this soon in case there is an active leak.
This indicates water damage, either from a leaky roof or from the heating/piping in one of the apartments above you. This is needs to be looked at by your Vermieter as soon as possible because things like this can result in damages of several ten thousands of euros. Often handled by insurance. Very unlikely to be your fault unless you did some very wild drilling.
To me this doesn’t look like mold (yet), but rather like water damage, possibly from a leak in your roof or in a pipe or an appliance the apartment above yours, depending on what’s above this room.
I’d contact your landlord and let them know. This doesn’t look like something you caused.
It definitely needs to be addressed as this could damage the walls/plaster or electrical work if there’s an ongoing leak, and it could very well become mold if it doesn’t dry properly.
