Warazup is a „People’s Militia Force“ that are named after a village in Kachin State. The SNA [used to be anti-junta](https://web.archive.org/web/20210709060433/https://www.irrawaddy.com/news/burma/ethnic-shanni-military-leader-assassinated-by-junta-group-claims.html), but they [eventually switched due to a belief that anti-junta forces will ethnically cleanse them](https://archive.ph/Fwifi).

Warazup has many ethnic Lisu members. Lisu special-interest groups and pundits [accuse KIA of killing them](https://web.archive.org/web/20190711143238/https://www.frontiermyanmar.net/en/the-blood-spoke-lisu-deaths-stir-unrest-in-kachin/). There are ethnic Lisu in the KIA, though.

Edit: Said this millions of times, but junta troops are easily detectable due to the camo pattern with a lot of yellow. The guys out of the armored vehicle in the last video are also junta troops (the regular junta army and Pyusawhti generally lacks uniform discipline in contrast to rebels and ethnic-based collaborators).

    2. What a cool and interesting script their language has! Some of these letters look like hieroglyphs.
