      There is a reason everyone is cutting economic ties and distancing themselves as fast as they can from the US. No one wants to be in a nightmare situation where agreements are not honored and you get threatened and bullied every two weeks. People are breaking away from the US. A new president will not help that, even with Trump gone, not sure anyone will be quick to be back, its not Trump alone, its the whole republican party, congress and the senate could have stopped this at any moment but did not. Its the US, not Trump.

      He also said oil companies are lining up to spend billions of dollars to upgrade and fix the systems there, for that extra thick dirty crude oil, only to what lower the price of the rest of their oil they are trying to sell? Production is already head downwards.

      Edit: Getting people off Iranian oil and russian oil is great but…

      India is actively trying to become a world leader in renewable energy. Meaning they’re not going to be buying the oil in substitutive quantities because they’re actively trying to replace the infrastructure that would use it.

      The article also acknowledges it’s not a commitment. It’s not even a plan. In trump’s own words it’s „concepts of a plan“ which makes the title misleading click-bait. That’s not an OP problem, it’s a Reuters problem.

      Trump’s Concepts of a Plan™ are no more real than the Republican long promised replacement for the Affordable Care Act which have only been Concepts of a Plan™ since 2010.

      Didn’t India decide to do trade with EU I don’t think what Trump demands matters anymore and isn’t America in control of the Venezuela oil sales so technically Trump is saying India pay me or else??????
