>Half of Albertans polled said they would vote UCP if an election was held tomorrow, compared to 37 per cent for the NDP

Danielle Grift I mean Smith successfully distracted everyone from her various scandals with the separatist clown show

I’m not really sure what the strategy is, but I feel like I haven’t heard enough from the NDP and what I have heard has come too late after key events.
I hope they’re just keeping their powder dry for the election call, but pretty underwhelmed with the Nenshi regime so far.

Friendly reminder that except for 4 years (2015-2019) Alberta has only elected conservative governments since 1971.

Could it be that separatism is speaking to more people than most think? Not saying I want it to happen but it seems more popular in Alberta than it does Quebec these days.

If you don’t count traitors the NDP is in the lead.

Ndp have done nothing but promise more money to the unproductive from the productive. This appeals only on reddit, not in real life.
People come to alberta to work hard and make a good life, not beg for handouts like the professional victims would have you believe

Other interesting things in the poll is that a majority of respondents still think the province is heading in the wrong direction. The NDP is really fumbling this bad. With numbers like that, they should be pulling ahead.
It also shows support for independence at 18% and 5% support for joining the US. Over 70% support for staying in Canada.

Seriously, Alberta, are you ok?
