Die Pokemon Company entschuldigte sich am Freitag auf ihrer Website und sagte, sie habe Informationen über eine von Einzelpersonen organisierte Veranstaltung am Schrein am Samstag aufgelistet, ohne dies zu bestätigen. Die Veranstaltung wurde später abgesagt.

Probably not too good to hold commercial events in religious areas.
The stupidity, at least the event is cancelled.
I get that the shrine isn’t anywhere near as controversial in Japan compared to everywhere else but surely whoever was in charge of organizing can’t be that dumb
