Fijiisd alta are missing in this map.
Seychelles and Myanmar do not belong here.
I just checked for my language and it looks like the map would be the same apart from Morocco, which we call Marokko.

For English in particular, I don’t think it makes sense to go by the vowel letters, because their relationship to the spoken vowels is… complex. Or does anyone say [gri:si:] here? 😉
Conversely, I think Chile has a reasonable claim on being included (depending on how demanding you are with matching your vowel qualities).

Maybe I didn’t understand the question but do Australia and Austria count or is it limited to vowel sounds and not just vowels?

Sailors in older times turning in their graves bro. They used to get lost in the sea with half assed maps turning out to nowhere and here we are like „Here’s the whole world map with countries who have ‚banana‘ in their name“ or smth.

There is only one vowel symbol in each of the names, but the actual vowel sounds differ in most of these cases.
In the case of Morocco, for instance, there are actually three different vowel sounds, each represented by „o“.
For Hong Kong, there is indeed only one vowel sound, repeated twice.

So Y isn’t a vowel in English

I notice that Nizilind is missing off the map again.
And we only have one vowel in our whole dialect, let alone the country name.

40% of Madagascar’s name is just vowels… and those vowels are all *a*.
