      I have seen this quote posted several times recently, and I found it resonates. The States have so much going on right now, and consensus seems to be it needs to get much, much worse there before we worry here. Meanwhile, a lot of cracks are forming in that administration. We’re going to be OK.

      Yup.

      When a mentally ill man is commander-in-chief of the most powerful country in the world, and that man wants to annex your country because his wife gave the former PM a loving gaze, that’s a cause for anxiety.

      On the positive side, the US slowly seems to be coming around to the same conclusion.

      Successful people in business and that have wealth only worry about things they can actually control, and make contingency plans for different scenarios so they can pivot quickly. Always think three steps ahead.

      People worrying about things like this, instead of just living their lives and making decisions on what they can actually control, usually tends to be the poors.

      Angus Reid (lead by Shachi Kurl CBC contributor and apparently „best TV Reporter in Canada“ – Are you worried about Canada Us relationships?

      At some point these strategies become offensive to anyone with critical thought and undergraduate research skills.

      Carney’s behaviour this week is concerning — it suggests that we are back where Trudeau left us: political leaders scoring anti-American points for partisan gain, at the country’s enormous detriment.

      Defending Canada’s sovereignty cannot be done through speeches to friendly audiences overseas. It must be built through capacity: an economy that works, infrastructure that actually gets built, and institutions that can make decisions and follow through.

      Why worry? Canadians voted for a competent leader (if you don’t believe me, ask him). Carney won an election on promises to deal with and mitigate Trump’s effect.

      The media and liberal voters all spoke so highly of Carney’s ability to handle Trump and was overall the was stronger candidate… how is that going so far?
