Why in Tokyo lol. They know the words to her songs, they have no idea what she is saying.
Did she know where she was in the moment?
People in the audience: „the fuck do you expect us to do?“
IMO we need to do more than just “go back”. In terms of “law enforcement incidents”, it was a safer for white people, but *not* safe for brown people, especially immigrants.
Also, the US was/is disastrously unsafe in a bunch of other preventable ways, that other developed countries have already responded to and model.
I know things are worse now, but we don’t need to go back, we can go somewhere better.
Bet she didn’t say a single thing when Obama was the one deporting millions during his terms in office. In fact, he deported FAR more than Trump did. Yet she was silent then. Interesting how that works eh?
If you aren’t aware about the current political climate in Japan, it’s time to take a look. They are copying the USA’s style of far right, nationalistic politics, the first time since WW2. It’s getting bad.
