Did she know where she was in the moment?

IMO we need to do more than just “go back”. In terms of “law enforcement incidents”, it was a safer for white people, but *not* safe for brown people, especially immigrants.

Also, the US was/is disastrously unsafe in a bunch of other preventable ways, that other developed countries have already responded to and model.

I know things are worse now, but we don’t need to go back, we can go somewhere better.

If you aren’t aware about the current political climate in Japan, it’s time to take a look. They are copying the USA’s style of far right, nationalistic politics, the first time since WW2. It’s getting bad.
