The motives are hagiography and a way to legally bribe the Trump’s. I don’t think anyone is questioning that.

    >All of which has a lot of Hollywood questioning whether Amazon’s push is anything more than the company’s attempt to ingratiate itself with President Trump.

I cannot believe a corrupt billionaire would risk sullying their name and reputation in order to gain favor from a corrupt billionaire. My world literally does not make sense anymore.

It was a bribe. Very obvious and should be charged by the next administration.

Main goal was to bribe Donald Trump. Bezos is richer now because of our Oligarchy system of government.

    Questioning?

This has been as open a bribe as can legally be done since the very beginning. Bezos isn’t a total moron, he knew nobody would see this, but it was an easy and legal way to put money in the president’s pocket for favorable treatment.

He probably won’t get it, because Trump doesn’t care – he’s happy to throw you under the bus once he has your $30m – but that’s the idea.

  7. How utterly disgusting. Fire 16K people and suck up to Trump. Break up Amazon and get rid of Jassy.

The motives are pretty clear. I’m surprised people are shocked about a family of known grifters leveraging the office of the president to increase their own wealth, surprising .

I find it funny that even MAGA aint buying tickets lol which to me is the more surprising part of this whole thing LOL.

  9. It’s important to remember that the majority of current right wing agitators are as vile as they are because they were, at one point, ostracized and shunned from elite liberal entertainment circles. They hate the left because they wanted to be invited to the same parties, run in the same social circles, and receive the same adoration Hollywood liberals receive daily.

Jeff Bezos is smart enough to understand this. He knows that, for people like Trump, the most important thing is for him to feel like he’s adored by the elite, and an easy way to make him feel that way is to make a movie about ~~him~~ his wife. It let’s Trump cosplay as a part of the Hollywood elite he’s so longed to be accepted by.

Questioning? One of the richest people on the planet is bribing the President? I’m pretty sure this is a normal Thursday in the world of billionaire bribery with the President.

Just some good old fashioned bribing of the president by one of the heads of the oligarchy, they don’t have to hide it anymore since it’s obvious that no punishment will ever be heading their way.

Yes, media, we all fucking know what it is. Apparently “journalists” are so unbelievably dumbfounded at what’s happening around them. As long as they’re under billionaire boot, they’ll keep playing stupid and expecting us not to believe what we can very clearly see with our own eyes.

I would pay someone not to go see that propaganda. She’s just as bad as the rest of anyone else in Trump’s orbit. I hope the sales reflect how bad a first lady she is. Standing by as an immigrant, watching her husband brutalize children in bunny hats, while being held in custody by his spiderman back pack. Disgusting!

  14. How are people surprised? Did they not see their little brown nosing CEO at the inauguration? This is to buy Dolan.

  15. The Obamas were paid a lot of money for their deals with Netflix, but AFTER Obama was no longer in office.

Amazon has a lot to gain by from a pleased Donald Trump. Case in point, NPR broke the news yesterday that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission quietly changed regulations to make it less expensive for tech companies to design and build small nuclear reactors for the data centers.

Those regulations now include less concern for protecting ground water and allowing higher levels of radiation exposure for workers. Just in case you were wondering if the billionaires behind big take care about our lives – they really don’t.

Netflix got the Obamas, so it makes sense that Bezos would want the Trumps.
