Just another reason for me to really dislike the city of memphis. memphis is the armpit of Tennessee. Three nice things there, Elvis Presley Estate, Memphis in May BBQ, and Beale Street(almost). Beale Street is not Broadway in Nashville.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn(Heartbreak Hotel) down at the end of Lonely Street. It was surrounded by a barbed wire fence to keep the bad guys out. The hotel played Elvis Presley movies on its TV system 24/7. The hotel has been torn down.
