I just watched that video in a Russian sub rip to that pilot and his co-pilot sad to see but this is the sad reality of war
The performance of the SU-25 as a ground attack plane is pretty compromised by the lack of air superiority – for both sides.
To lob glide bombs and cruise missiles from a „safe“ distance is the actual approach now and the Su-25 is also not the plane of choice for this approach regarding survivability.
