He was so good in Little Miss Sunshine and There Will be Blood, probably 100 more I’m not thinking of off the top of my head too. It’s one thing to be an asshole. Don’t do that. But to be a stupid asshole is something else entirely. QT should put down the rolled up dollar bill for the first time in his adult life.

Tarantino, despite his talent as a filmmaker, has always been a fucking asshole. And a creep.

    Paul Dano is a rockstar.

Just watched him in 12 Years a Slave Tarantino was jealous at how many times he said the n word that’s his word

That’s a classy way of responding to the issue. It’s much better to have others defend you than to defend yourself, especially when you are both the wronged party and also arguably the person the public knows less well. It can be very hard to set the right tone responding to this kind of seemingly out-of-the-blue criticism from a household name director. I’m glad Dano feels everyone else speaking up for him says more and better than he could himself.

Dano wouldn’t let QT gargle his feet. QT didn’t take it lightly.

I think it was the fact that Dano was really good in that movie and his criticism didn’t make any sense.

  7. Paul Dano has also worked with Daniel Day-Lewis twice. There’s not many actors who are gifted enough to be able to do that. Paul Dano is a generational talent.

  8. Love him as an actor but goddamn this is a time to act like a man and defend yourself. Quentin took personal, very public shots at him.

Sorry, this is not one of those be “classy” or “take the high road” deals. Not at all.

  9. I hope this is all that Paul Dano has to say on the subject. The less he says, the better he’ll look.

  10. Paul Dano is just a very likable person. I like watching him in films. He’s got a certain charm.

  11. Swiss Army Man was one of the best and most memorable theater experiences i’ve ever had.
It’s just as good at home though, too. Check it out.

Tarantino is an ass and if I’m being fully honest, I’m not sure that I really enjoy his movies.

I’ve watched them because they’re popular, but I’ve yet to come across one that really just blows me away.

This whole mess likely made him more famous. Imagine how many people googled him. My money’s on things comin’ up Dano, especially because he left it alone. 🥂

Paul Dano was so good in TWBB, that at the end you were actually rooting for him to get his ass killed.

Now I desperately need a Nice Guys style movie with Paul Dano and Matthew Lillard it would kick ass

Shitting on Dano and Lillard was literally the dumbest fucking thing Tarantino has ever said in public, the most tone deaf and out of touch statement he’s ever made about the business.

There has to be more behind it, some personal beef, some perceived slight, some bad drugs, etc.
