      Apparently there are at least several hundred thousand poeple who still practice it today. It’s not 100% gone.

    3. Bad map, for one no definition of the different blues and two we have no idea about religious distribution in a lot of these areas during the 7th century. Especially Siberia and Europe is sus to me. I assume this is referring to the Huns, they were just a relative small group though that ruled over various local people, I highly doubt tengrism was that strong in eastern Europe

    4. If there is literally nothing around you for hundreds of kilometers except the steppe and the sun. Then.. You will believe in the steppe and the sun.

      Bulgaria was a tengrist country before Kynaz Boris I converted it to Christianity in 864
