      Anyone who thinks this is a problem is wildly overreacting.

      Anything we need to know about the convention of Ontario’s governing party will become fully clear and transparent as soon as Brian Lilley publishes whatever Doug Ford’s media team tells him to.

      That means that anything that does get reported on the convention, is going to be the spiciest of gossip, that they’d probably not see in the headlines. The smarter way to handle something like this, is to allow the media in, and inundate them with boring stories so that they have to work to find anything damaging. Without that access, they’re going to be working their sources to get the most headline grabbing stories.

      Considering the rumours (as reported by the Queen’s Park Observer) are flying that Doug Ford’s niece (Rob Ford’s daughter) will be acclaimed a party VP with no vote, I’m not surprised they’ll want it sanitized of media.
