    Das wurde von jedem getragen (ich eingeschlossen, lol) und man konnte nirgendwo hingehen, ohne es zu riechen. Es war aber ziemlich gut 😂

      Lynx Africa (although the brand was called ‘AXE’). Clearly much classier than today’s youth.

      As with others it was Lynx Africa in my day. And on nights out lads would smell like they had sat in a bath of Davidoff Cool Water for the day.

      I was living in Germany in the ‘80s when Axe, the brand name for Lynx over there, became popular. The smell of it over the underlying BO of unwashed bodies was unpleasant. Now, every time a version of it wafts past my nostrils, it makes me think that the wearer is a stinker trying to cover up his crime against society. True prejudice on my part, perhaps? /s

      It was Lynx Africa for me. Until about 5th/6th year when many of us realised Lynx does not work well at stopping you from sweating/smelling.

      I don’t know what the fuck happened in my secondary school but one year every single lad decided Joop Homme was the only thing they should smell like.

      Walking through the corridors was like wading through mustard gas.

      Lynx Apollo is the 🐐, I remember bringing a bottle of shower gel of it on a school trip to France.

      Long story short is exploded all over my bag , so couldn’t get away from the smell all trip.

      Managed to find a massive bottle of it in a Mr Price , only it’s now Axe Apollo must get up to see if they have anymore.
