SS: This feels like a classic „Robots only half as efficient as humans…so far“ moment. Even with the extensive qualifiers, it’s mind-boggling how fast humanoid robotics has evolved from 2020 (helpless without being carefully scripted bit-by-bit in a controlled environment) to 2026 (actually able to do useful work in the factory, even if it’s slow, and likely even more efficient if they’re teleoperated).
Hot take: It’s unconscionable that people are still dying in the workplace now that we have multi-armed robots that can be remotely piloted with some degree of fidelity from the comfort of an office.

Is that half as efficient *while working*, eg if the robot can operate 22 hours a day that 50% efficiency doesn’t mean much.
