One would hope that ending a trade war would indeed increase trade, and it’s good to see that our hardworking Western farmers can now finally get their product to market.
Apologies to the hard-working Australian farmers if our low-priced Canola affects the season’s profits. Our farmers were trapped between a rock and a hard place by concurrent US and China tariffs, so I’m sure we are selling at a bit of a discount due to oversupply. Hopefully, things stay stable enough so that there is honest competition next season and farmers from both countries can prosper equally.

A lot of happy farmers this morning.
