Importing 40k people every year doesn’t help I guess

I am only part of this effort for the last years and half, but congrats to all of us.
Malta should do what UK does and [import wood pellets from Canada](https://www.theguardian.com/business/2025/nov/09/drax-still-burning-250-year-old-trees-sourced-from-forests-in-canada-experts-say)(aka biomass) to burn in power stations instead of gas.
Because burning forests is considered renewable (you know, those trees grow back in 100 years)
At this rate, the island is pretty much on track to become the NEW New Delhi
How much of this is due to population increase, and how different is it if for the countries you average it out per Capita?
Are there enough new people that per person it didn’t go up?
