Yeah especially considering Germany’s pretty strict privacy culture (I believe Google street was very limited in Germany until recently)

I have a feeling this is completely made up. There is no database of this. You could maybe have an AI scrub social media or something, but it would cite that then. And, there is no way northern Spain is that photographed . I’m sure there are plenty of other examples, but while its very beautiful, Asturias isn’t all that popular.

Cut off Alaska, Hawaii and New Zealand, which I recon would have huge photographic hotspots.

more likely this is a map of what populations use whatever app they scraped this data from. If it’s a western app of course Europe and US will light up compared to other parts of the world

And I thought Heidelberg might be the most photogenic place

It’s the [blue banana](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Banana) – there’s population and money where industrialization has been going on the longest.
I would put very little trust in a map that’s unsourced and whose title ends in an ellipsis, though.
Where is this data from? How do you even measure this at all conclusively? I have never reported where I have photographed.
>Not a clue why Rhine-Ruhr valley was most photographed?
How did you determine that from a map that’s like five pixels wide?
Having said that, the Rhine valley is insanely beautiful.

Why no New Zealand?
Taiwan is looking good.
