      Their relationship is almost comedic to me. It’s like the one thing they have in common is the label „progressive conservative“.

      Pizza nove is not bad, as far as chains go, but I think they could have done better.

      At least it wasn’t pizza pizza.

      ya i guess this works? both doug and mark are trying to look like they’re politicians for the working man.
      Nova is a very very old pizza franchise in toronto they must employ a TON of canadians so having lunch here pushes that image. Its actually extremely good pizza for franchise pizza (not at good as pizzaiolo tho).

      Sometimes it feels like they’re playing good cop / bad cop as suits the situation. Guess they have worked out how to negotiate for mutual benefit. There is nothing personal in this when there is agreement on what they’re working to accomplish with their interests in mind. Of coarse, the added pressure to work together on the US front does make for interesting relationship dynamics.
