Dating an old globe usually can’t be done by age stamped on it most don’t have a production date printed. Instead, experts look at the place names and borders printed on the map to estimate when it was made. For example, if it shows USSR it’s from 1990 or earlier, if it shows British Honduras instead of Belize it’s likely pre‑1981, and older colonial names like Persia or Siam point to much earlier dates. You’d need clear photos of the globe to narrow it down, but identifying obsolete countries/places is the key to estimating the age.
