You counted blackout days as zero? Wouldn’t it be better to use an estimate of at least 6 or so for those days in the monthly and yearly tallies?

Memorial Day 2024 looked like a fun weekend.

You didn’t count drinks for the blackout days in your monthly and yearly totals.

Very healthy imo. I’m usually 6-10 days no alcohol then 10+ on a Saturday but I can handle my drink

On college I’d say my friends and I had at least 24 drinks every week, basically 3 nights of 8. Some friends drank even more, like 10 a night going out 4 nights a week.
Adult life with social friends that’s dropped to probably 15. Not as much binge drinking but more concert beers and craft flights.
So on average about 1,000 drinks a year.

Out of curiosity, what counts as ‚a drink‘? A beer, a bottle of wine, a double of spirits, or some other unit of measure?

What interest you most about your data? Just curious why you tracked this and what you hoped to get out of it.
I wish I had this amount of self-control but I really like having four beers. Having four beers is great.

I’d be all yellow orange with a couple of greens, pinks, but never a blackout

OP, looks like you’ve healed a lot. I started regularly tracking mid 2023, and I really think I need to do a graph like this.

Nice work, I’ve tracked mine for 2025, just need to pop it on a sheet like you did. I’ve got your 2026 one, I’ll have to make a 2025 from that to pop my numbers on.
Nothing to track this year so far, first successful dry January attempt. No drinking problem or anything, just always some event that helps me not get there, I think tracking my consumption just helps you be more in touch with what you are actually doing , rather than your perception of how it’s going…

4+ to blackout is a wild jump

It looks like blackout may be soon after 5? I don’t see any numbers like 7 or 9. Or it could be that’s about when the brakes fail.

That’s more reasonable alcohol intake than the similar data collections we typically see on here.

Nice. I hope you had your drink on Christmas and realized you were at 68 drinks for the year and made a conscious choice to have just one more drink for the rest of 2025 for fake internet points reasons!

What are you considering a drink? a unit, pint or something else? I dont think i’ve ever in my life seen someone just have one drink, unless its at a restaurant. I am from Scotland though where we have quite a strong binge drinking culture.

Nice! And here I am, aiming to reduce to 2 per workday max…

My rule was always to give up drinking for any month containing „J“, „U“ and „Y“.
