Why is Finland so isolated? And why do they even need an embassy in Iraq in the first place? Recruit refugees?

    2. Interesting that Armenia and Azerbaijan are so close to each other.

And no embassy of Canada and Britain?

What happened to embassy street? (شارع السفرات)
IIRC it was on the other side of Baghdad, closer to the Airport, The Chinese, Russian and Palestinian embassies were there at one point.

The street between the Armenian and Azerbaijani embassies should be fun at night

Interesting to mention that the Vatican doesn’t have embassies like other countries, but Apostolic Nunciatures, which function differently.

Sorry to spill the beans but seems like you fell for a trap on google maps… The Finnish embassy is actually located as follows:
      „Hotel Royal Tulip
      Al Rasheed
      Green Zone“

As per the websites of the exterior ministry

I was puzzled by the red dot just southeast of the UN, looked it up, and that’s Japan! Makes sense.
