      I always wondered how would it look if a planet like earth crossed as AGN jet, wold it just get removed from observable space and dislodged into oblivion, would it get disassembled into molecules etc

      Can someone explain to me how can we even approximate the dormancy period of any blackhole? Especially this long, for such a distant object (0.6 billion light years from us).
      Without observational data of the speculated transition to dormancy ~100 million years ago.
