      Moscow on Sunday ruled out talks with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas on ending the war in Ukraine, terming her and the bloc’s leadership „incompetent.“

      The EU leadership lacks visionaries with a view to the future, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Russian state television.

      „They are some untrained, incompetent functionaries who do not look to the future and are unable to comprehend the system of coordinates in existence today,“ he said.

      The entire international relations system was suffering as a result, Peskov added.

      He noted that the European Union has emerged from an imagined dependence on Russian oil and gas to dependence on the United States.

      Peskov was particularly critical of Kallas, a former Estonian prime minister. „With her we will never discuss anything at all, and the Americans will also not do so,“ he said.

      Moscow would wait until she left office, he said.

      Peskov spoke following talks in the United Arab Emirates on Friday and Saturday between Ukrainian and Russian representatives, with US mediators in attendance.

      The EU needs to have a more assertive foreign policy if we are to be taken seriously. We can’t wait for American approval before we act because then we will become (as seen here) a tier-2 player in global diplomacy.

      Incompetent? Coming from the „superpower“ that botched a 3 day special military operation so hard, that they burned their Soviet stockpile alongside over a million of their sons and their future at the Ukrainian front?

      Coming from the „superpower“ that thinks supporting your „allies“ means reserving a hotel room for their deposed dictators?

      The superpower that can’t do fuck all when a country decides to seize one of their tankers, because halve their ships are on the bottom of the black seas while the other halves crew is being killed at the front.

      The superpower that by now is nothing more than China’s bitch?

      The day Europe realizes how pathetic Ruzzia really is, is the day this war can be ended once and for all.

      This is kinda why I wish Ukraine would be a little more willing to, lets say ‚retire‘, Russian diplomatic officials and not just the military ones… since these people wont budge an inch because they feel invulnerable and can keep the consequences of their war at arms length.

      Nothing so astonishing, the EU foreign commissioners never had any real importance and usually he/she speaks only for the interests of his/her nation. Everyone know that and nobody takes her seriously.

      He expect that a 3rd actor, USA, will obligate EU to bow to russian demands. Like forcing EU to accept Ukraine immediately after the pace negotiation, skipping all the steps that any potential EU membership requires. Or that we’ll have to forgive all the russian wrongdoings in the last 30 years because he told Trump to make us accept it.

      It’s just a circus, they’re to shy to contact us directly.
