  1. > “Actresses get treated like shit, I’ve got to tell you,” Stewart said. “People think anyone could be an actress, but the first time I sat down to talk about my movie as a director, I thought, wow, this is a different experience, they are talking to me like I’m somebody with a brain.”

    > She added, “There’s this idea that directors have otherworldly abilities, which is not true. It’s an idea perpetuated by men. Not to sound like I’m complaining all the time, but it’s worse for female actors than male ones — they get treated like puppets, but they are not. Imogen [Poots] put her whole body and soul into this movie.”

Real world is gone to these people. I work in a casino. You wanna see people be treated like they are not human beings. Come. I’ll show.

Nothing like a vapid „actress“ complaining about Hollywood. Shut up.

  5. People treat you differently when you are directing because you are expected to have the answers or know who to call to get the answers. But being treated like shit is not exclusive to the entertainment industry, it’s everywhere, and it’s exponentially worse.

Ms. Stewart, this isn’t the message to be putting out today. Awards season or not.

Entitled rich person who never had to worry about anything, I’ve seen several interviews of her where it seems that she desperately wants to be a victim, it’s embarrassing.

I feel like… it’s very likely people treated *her* like shit. I do not mean that as an insult. I’m just saying her experience in the industry may reflect her treatment outside of it too. People treated her like a talentless joke for ages. All because of Twilight. Then they tried to stick her in other gimmicky cash ins like Snow White.

Took awhile for her to get respectable credits. As a director she is technically the boss. Damn right that’ll command respect.

I’m just saying some actresses probably had an easier time than her. Not counting the typical layer of crap women get regularly. Anyways I can see why all those experiences stack up and she came away generally not liking the industry very much.

Director of What? Titles are misleading. If you’re the Senior Vice President of a bank that has one location in a town of 1,000 people, is that really consequential?

Does anyone care about the movies that no one watches that Kristen Stewart directs?
