      I’ve been seeing a lot of posts like this recently, what’s the actual probability of it happening?

      India did exactly that. They repatriated gold mainly from London. 

      Edit:

      For India, gold was not safe where it can be easily controlled/ confiscated/ frozen by USA. And for India, UK is such place, because it is under USA sphere of influence.

      For Germany, having it’s gold placed where USA can control/ confiscate/ freeze is not safe. And Germany has it’s gold exactly at such a place.

      Friedrich Merz is a die-hard dyed-in-the-wool 100 % surefire total absolute positive Transatlanticist. There’s a snowball’s chance in hell that he is ever doing something like that.
