Das polnische Energienetz wurde von einer noch nie dagewesenen Wiper-Malware angegriffen. Forscher sagten, der Wischer sei wahrscheinlich das Werk einer Hackergruppe der russischen Regierung, die unter dem Namen Sandworm verfolgt wird.

    Cyber war is an act of aggression. Unpunished aggression is dangerous for the victim. If NATO plays defense forever, eventually a Russian attack will hit home and absolutely cripple us.

  4. My masters thesis around a decade ago was on the cybersecurity of industrial control and SCADA systems.

    The deployment of Stuxnet proved that offensive cyberwarfare campaigns could have real-world impact on critical national infrastructure, but it also highlighted how insecure the systems controlling said assets generally were. Security was an afterthought in most of them.
