  1. So just a normal dude pissed off at loser rentacops wearing face mask and pretending to be the SS

  2. his firearm was taken from him, 7 agents on him, hands clearly nowhere near his waist, this was a murder. No doubt about it.

  3. Now identify the ICE Nazis that executed him. They’re going to have to do it to set up their gofundme murder bounties anyway

  4. Scattered97 on

By „fatally shot“ I assume they mean „summarily executed“?

RIP to this man. He didn’t deserve what happened to him. Wake up, Americans, for everyone’s sake.

  5. One could attack their vehicles. Start carrying hunting knives and slash the tires. It’s felony property damage but they are literally driving around all day murdering and terrorizing people, so I feel a jury might be sympathetic.

I’m pretty sure you could also pressure local towing companies and mechanics to not provide repair services, keeping the affected vehicles out of commission longer. I don’t make this suggestion lightly, but the only way to stop an invading force without violence is through logistic pressure. Make it impossible for them to keep 4 functional tires on any of their vehicles and they will leave.

Other Ideas: Snip tire stems with angle cutters(or wire cutters). Glitter bombs (paint mixed with glitter in ballons) thrown at windshields.

disclaimer: this is what i would do in a realistic video-game. I don’t condone anyone taking these actions in real life.

He was „resisting“ by being pinned to the ground, with about 2 ICE officers per limb, lying completely motionless, before they shot him dead with three bullets in the chest, and then an extra 10 or so to his lifeless corpse for good measure.

And our government is gleefully lying about his murder, labeling him a terrorist. Past time to bring these fascists down

  8. reddittorbrigade on

An American citizen was killed again.

We could be the next victims of these terrorist ICE.

  9. This is appalling, Alex was executed … they disarmed him and then they shot him.

  10. Independent-Note-184 on

There is nothing more traumatic than finding out your relative has been murdered. While his family just begins to mourn our own government immediately maligns his memory. I can only hope that this starts to wake people up.

  11. A registered nurse who worked at the VA in the ICU.

So this guy cared for critically ill veterans, had a licensed firearm and concealed carry permit, was exercising TWO of his rights and was disarmed by federal agents THEN executed in the street.

Wake up, conservatives. Snap out of it already.

  12. campfire_eventide on

US citizen, an ICU nurse, an athlete, a son, a brother, legally owned his firearm, licensed to carry, no priors or any history of violence

He didn’t break any laws, did nothing that warranted detainment let alone summary execution. He was attempting to attend to someone who had just been pushed to the ground by ICE

He was shot in the back while both hands were on the ground after being sprayed in the face and subdued by six or seven overweight men

Democrats that voted for continuing funding to ICE need to be primaried. This administration is unpopular, unconstitutional, fascist, violent, and stupid.

Sadly, these outcomes were always inevitable. The Trump administration’s authoritarian deployment of trigger happy, unaccountable federal thugs around the country never intended to „reduce crime“ or drive back some imaginary „invasion“ or „rebellion.“ No, the intention was always to legitimize the aggressive occupation of areas around the country where Trump’s political opposition remains defiant of him and his policies.

Places where federalized troops and masked ICE agents have been mobilized to crackdown on protestors, crush dissenting voices, profile their targets, assault passersby, throw people into unmarked vehicles, suppress civil liberties and arrest or detain anyone who meets the government’s vague criteria of a „domestic terrorist.“

Donald Trump, his allies and followers are trying desperately to turn the criminals into the victims of these violent tragedies so that they can continue justifying the federal government’s terrorizing presence around the country.

It also speaks volumes that all of the MAGA mouthpieces are out in full force trying to defend murder; regurgitating the talking points that have been delivered by the White House; peddling the regime’s propaganda in order to control the narrative.

That narrative’s purpose is not only to make victims out of murderers, but to also insist that the people who are being unjustly slain by the government deserve it because they are part of a larger, hostile, yet fictional left-wing threat to this country—excuse me—THEIR country.

The goal from the moment that these incidents become national news is to politicize them, facts be damned. Local investigations are being obstructed while federal officials have been speaking out almost immediately after these incidents; making statements that seek to blame the victim and exonerate the shooter.

MAGA would be screaming bloody murder if they identified with the actual victim and *not* the shooter(s) in these scenarios.

This is because their loyalty and the loyalty of these lawless, wannabe counter-revolutionaries is not to this country, nor the safety of its people, not to the law, nor the constitution, but to Donald Trump and to a destructive, hateful and violent ideology. The only authority they have to answer to is one that will absolve them of all wrongdoing—even in the case of murder.

Meanwhile, Trump has already threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act as part of an effort to subvert the authority of states and invalidate the Posse Comitatus Act, giving him the unilateral power to order the military and his personal army of ICE goons to enforce his will and carry out the law however the administration sees fit.

And like every other step Trump has taken towards consolidating power and control over the country, these actions do absolutely nothing to confront the underlying, root causes of crime, „domestic terrorism,“ political violence and other systemic issues.

These measures are also meant to produce the ILLUSION of safety. They fail at being an effective and reliable deterrent to anything.

And as elections roll around, there’s the very strong likelihood that Trump will use this paramilitary presence to suppress the vote in urban areas.

„Law and order“ has been a conservative dog whistle for decades, and we know that Trump and MAGA don’t care all that sincerely about the law because they believe they are above it. That is to say, „For my friends everything, for my enemies the law.“

Trump has even stated as much; claiming that he is not beholden to any standards but his own and posting comments like, „He who saves his country does not violate any law,“ a quote often attributed to Napoleon Bonaparte insinuating that Trump is entitled to operate outside all laws and regulations, whenever and however he pleases. This is dictator logic.

MAGA’s law and order rhetoric intends to divide and aims to incite violence and hostility towards minorities, immigrants, marginalized segments of society and anyone who is subjectively deemed a „left wing agitator.“

In other words, to them, „law and order“ means punishing your enemies.

MAGA’s obsession with crime and punishment is reflected in their support for federalizing troops and local law enforcement to subdue their political opponents and terrorize the population. It’s reflected in this administration’s militarization of domestic policy, in Trump’s weaponization of ICE and the DOJ, in the Republican party’s disregard for the basic constitutional rights of the people they’re targeting and arresting, in Trump’s attacks on law firms and judges, in his defiance of court orders and flouting of checks and balances, and in his pursuit of vengeance against his critics, his political enemies and anyone who has ever tried to hold him accountable for HIS crimes.

The hypocrisy is baffling. While Trump and his supporters are demanding that he receive a Nobel Peace Prize for his feckless efforts at ending multiple wars (which he hasn’t) and „negotiating“ an imaginary peace around the world, he is simultaneously waging war against the American people, people he is tasked with protecting.

These tactics are taken directly from the fascist playbook. Including the current use of inflammatory rhetoric from Trump and his allies who are trying to justify their consolidation of power and their occupation of cities around the country by broadly designating Democrats and all left-leaning political foes as „terrorists.“

They’re also using this opportunity to employ another fascist strategy which involves scapegoating minorities, immigrants and out-groups; identifying them as „enemies“ and „threats“ to national security. This becomes their unifying cause.

Republicans spread fearmongering propaganda and misinformation about these groups that appeals to conservatives‘ culture war grievances, their paranoia and their phobias.

It’s also clear that the Trump administration is hoping to provoke an incident. Republicans are desperate for an escalation—for a violent response so that Trump can continue to push the limits of his power and so him and his supporters can rationalize to themselves why more military incursions around the country are necessary.

But none of it is sincere. All of their rhetoric and their reactions to violent tragedies and political commotions of the past were really just rallying cries.

They couldn’t care less about the root causes of crime, political violence or domestic extremism. Their chief priority throughout all of this has been to construct a pretext to declare war against „the radical left.“

And now that the Trump administration gets to dictate whom or what conforms to the vague definition of a „domestic terrorist,“ they will continue to use this blanket label to suppress civil liberties, to scapegoat their enemies, to crackdown on dissent and to arrest (or kill) anyone who defies them.

    From the article:

    >The man fatally shot by federal officers in Minneapolis on Saturday, Jan. 24, has been identified as Alex Jeffrey Pretti, according to sources familiar with the investigation.

    >The shooting follows the shooting death of Renee Good by an agent on Jan. 7 in Minneapolis.

    >Pretti, 37, has an address listed in south Minneapolis.

    >At a news conference, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said the man who was shot was a 37-year-old white man whose record only showed some parking tickets. Law enforcement sources said Saturday their records show Pretti had no serious criminal history.

    >O’Hara said the man was a “lawful gun owner” with a permit.

    >Records show that Pretti attended the University of Minnesota. His LinkedIn page notes that he was a “junior scientist” at the University of Minnesota Medical School starting in 2012.

    >Also, state records show Pretti was issued in 2021 a license to be a registered nurse, and it remains active through March 2026.

A man that dedicated his life to serving soldiers (he was a VA ICU nurse) was just executed point blank by cosplay soldiers. It doesn’t get more dystopian than that.

    Rest in power, Alex.

  17. His last act before being executed was protecting a fellow American. He was a true patriot killed by the American Gestapo for being a decent person.

Stephen Miller just called him a domestic terrorist.

MA Rep Seth Moulton, on MSNow, just called Stephen Miller a domestic terrorist.

  19. How on earth can you watch the new angles and believe when DHS says “the man violently resisted”

This is the most disgusted I’ve been in 10 years. And that’s saying a lot.

We the People demand the arrest and prosecution of the ICE agents in these videos for murder and accessory to murder.

Any media outlet that continues to refer to ICE domestic terrorists as „federal agents“ or „federal officers“ is engaged in normalization and sane-washing, and is complicit with the regime. Full stop.

  22. the_gaymer_girl on

He was literally just trying to help out a woman that ICE knocked over.
