Glad BBC are going after Tiktok, they need to moderate their content better or block videos like this being monetised. There are hundreds of thousands of videos of people being humiliated and bullied for „content“

  2. There’s been this horrible trend where scumbags also been running about in Chinatown doing the same shit.

I will support filming in public, but secret recording, maybe not so much.

The guys who do this always value their privacy. Their accounts never show their faces. Voices often disguised. Never respond to the press. Never get outed. Funny that. I guess privacy only matters if you are a shameless clout chasing creep with limited content ideas.

Well, these men shouldn’t be surprised if this backfires on them massively and they’re told to f off a lot more when approaching women.  They should share the details of the ones doing it, so they can experience some harassment themselves.

This will definitely result in women rightfully dismissing every bloke that ever approaches them.

Not only sharing the video online, but leaving in personal information and mobile numbers? Evil.

This has been going on for decades it’s just now with POV glasses

It used to be a hidden mic and someone filming from a distance

these „pick up“ losers (aka incels) could so easily blur out the woman’s face and personal details before posting.. the fact they don’t speaks volumes about the distain they have for the women they record

Can someone explain why if this happens to a man nothing would happen and no outrage

But when it happens to women it’s international news

    Bring back equality

I don’t get how these videos are interesting— literally just a normal conversation.

    These men are just strange.

Would be good if there was a bit of tech to detect if someone is wearing one of these smart glasses that record people.

TikTok is an absolute cess pit. Guarantee the conversation about this over there will be loads of people insisting that there’s no right to privacy in public etc. etc.

    >man walked up to her and said: „I swear red hair means you’ve just been heartbroken.“

Surprised cornball lines like that actually work on people.

  13. The dude who runs CrimeLdn pages where he posts news articles about crime and other urban sort of stories was someone who stalked a girl who barely was 18 and either had a restraining order or something similar put in place. He’s not even from London. Then you get these auditor types like DJEMedia who *checks notes* have convictions for sexual crimes.

There’s a reason why in Japan all phones need to have a shutter click sound on the camera, I’m just surprised that people are hyper focusing on Tiktok as a platform and not the creepy glasses or the men who are making the content.
