I’m surprised with the French connection that Maine isn’t tied back to the French province. But I know naming can be tricky and hard to nail down.
Newfoundland and Labrador is a single province
I had to look up why New Brunswick wasn’t English and found out that it comes from King George who was also prince-elector of Brunswick-Lüneburg in the H.R.E.
Oregon is Spanish
What’s the language origin of Greenland? Isn’t that missing from the map?
