      It’s wild that even after Smith lays it out that Trump was the “person most responsible” and broke the law, half of Congress still acts like this was some harmless pep rally gone sideways. If the evidence was so flimsy, it wouldn’t have led to multiple indictments in the first place — and yet here we are, watching a replay of “nothing to see here” from folks who still swear the Jan. 6 committee was a partisan circus.

      And no thanks to that traitor Aileen Cannon, Trump didn’t get prosecuted.

      I mean, we know this already. I absolutely agree with Smith that he should never have been allowed to run for office again. The question is, why did so many people *not* see it? They’re Not-sees! Seriously, I’m amazed by the lengths to which these people go to keep their heads inside their rectal areas.

      People forget, as commander in chief, he had a duty. In the law, when you have a duty to act but don’t act, that inaction is considered an affirmative action. The act of doing nothing when a duty was owed.

      It was an unprecedented historical event that was denied, distorted, and covered up by politicians for reasons of public safety. I think many believed that if they arrested Trump, a civil war would break out. Considering USA in 2026, they really should have gone ahead and chained that criminal. And they know it

      I mean yeah, this isn’t exactly shocking. Dude spent weeks hyping people up, telling them the election was stolen, then acted surprised when things went sideways. You don’t get to light a match and then act like you weren’t near the fire. Even if you like the guy, Jan 6 didn’t just happen out of nowhere.

      Jack Smith is the real patriot in this war. Trump may have lost the election but his impeachment win was an act of cowardice by the Congress.

      We all saw it with our own eyes. Unfortunately, we live in a country where one-sided decorum is more important than the rule of law.

      Meanwhile the entire republican argument seemingly rests on, “but did Jack Smith have the authority” rather than did the guy he investigated for a crime actually commit said crime. Which endangered many of the very Republicans who are arguing the investigation was ‘unjust.’

      These are not serious people.

      People really seem to think that none of this stuff was recorded. Even if Trump never has to face consequences for his many crimes, he and everyone associated with him will forever be in the annals of history as some of the most blatantly irresponsible leaders of the U.S. ever.

      Police officers defending the Capitol died as a direct result of Trump’s criminal action on Jan 6.

      Anyone who thinks this is no big deal has clearly forgotten to switch on their moral compass.
